House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently called an emergency session of Congress to force Democrats’ politically driven takeover of elections through the House, without committee review of the final bill text. The bill, which was unanimously rejected by Republicans in a party-line vote, would force state legislatures to seek permission from the federal government to pass or change state election laws through a constitutionally questionable process called pre-clearance.
The reality is that it has never been easier for Americans of every voting group to register and vote than it is today, but Democrats have continued their 20-year crusade to takeover America’s elections, rig the system in their favor, and silence conservative voices to preserve their power. In fact, H.R. 4 is a grab-bag of liberal policies to effectively abolish voter I.D., subject states to crushing mandates, and penalize them for cleaning up their outdated voting procedures.

What do real ‘Jim Crow’ laws look like? Georgia’s 1958 civics test was used to bar black citizens from voting, but it was not only southern states discriminating against voters. California, Connecticut, Delaware, and more also had constitutional and/or statutory provisions to impede minority voting.
